1. Start-up procedure of Roots vacuum pump:
（1）、启动前级泵。
(1) Start the front pump.
（2）、打开前级泵预抽官路商的阀门和罗茨泵进气口上的阀门。
(2) Open the valve of the pre-pumping official and the valve on the intake port of Roots pump.
（3）、待系统内的压力达到罗茨真空泵的允许压力后，关闭预抽阀门，起动罗茨真空泵，如无预抽管路及阀门，则待达到起动压力后起动罗茨真空泵，此过程亦可采用压力传感器自动控制，实现整个过程的自动化。
(3) When the pressure in the system reaches the allowable pressure of Roots vacuum pump, close the pre-pumping valve and start the Roots vacuum pump. If there is no pre-pumping pipeline and valve, then start the Roots vacuum pump after the starting pressure is reached. （4）根据真空系统的实际情况，如果不是大的真空系统，则起动前级泵后即可起动罗茨真空泵。如果是较大的真空系统，虽然带溢流阀的罗茨真空泵具有过载保护作用，但这种保护只是对电机的保护，罗茨泵本身仍可因为长时间工作在高压力下，而产生过热卡死，应待前级泵抽到一定压力后再起动罗茨泵。
